# Delete a zone

> Remove a zone from your tenant.

DELETE /v1/tenant/zones/{zone_code}
```

Unlinks the zone from your tenant. The zone's connectivity state and active verticals for your tenant are removed with it. Teams whose home zone it was keep their `zone_id`.

## Authentication

Session token (`Authorization: Bearer <token>`) with the `zones:manage` permission: `company_admin`, `company_tech` or `country_admin`. The integration API key and other roles receive `403 forbidden`.

## Path parameters

**zone\_code** `string` *required*

Code of a zone linked to your tenant.

## Response `204`

No body.

## Errors

| Status | `error` | When |
| - | - | - |
| `401` | `unauthorized` | Missing, invalid or revoked credentials. |
| `403` | `forbidden` | The credential lacks `zones:manage` (including every API key). |
| `404` | `not_found` | No zone with this code is linked to your tenant. |
| `500` | `internal_error` | Unexpected server error. |
